Fall Highlights: Happenings at Planview

It’s a busy time at Planview, with exciting events, team-building activities, and initiatives focused on fostering connections across our global teams. The Austin office went all out in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, while the Bangalore office celebrated Planotsav. As we transition into the final months of 2024, here’s a look at what’s happening at Planview.

Building Bonds and Making Memories: Planotsav and Rescue Bears

Planview’s Bangalore office recently hosted Planotsav, our annual Capability & Innovation Center (CIC) Planview Employee event in India that continues to outdo itself in energy and fun. This year’s party was epic, with teammates and their families dancing, laughing, and creating everlasting memories.

The Global Impact Leadership Team gathered in Austin in October. This in-person time was packed with purposeful activities, including a volunteer event where team members stuffed rescue bears for local children in a Rescue Bear team-building event. Together, they crafted bears for children in need, strengthening their connections while giving back to the community. The leadership team also spent valuable time aligning on market dynamics and establishing priorities for the rest of 2024 and beyond.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Planview Goes Pink

October marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Planview was all in! Across our offices, employees are showcasing their support by wearing pink. In Austin, the team got together on October 3rd for a pink-themed lunch and a fun day of raising awareness.

The Women of Planview ERG plans to stay busy with various events planned to close the year on a high note. On the agenda is an exciting panel discussion featuring Janet Robertson, CIO of RS Group, who will discuss building efficient organizations, fostering innovation, and balancing mental health and career growth. These discussions are set to inspire employees to pursue personal and professional development with a limitless mindset, just as we honor and support those impacted by breast cancer.

Fika Breaks and Oktoberfest Fun

In other news, the Austin office has been embracing some European traditions. Team members celebrated Kanelbullens dag, an annual themed Cinnamon Bun Day originating in Sweden and Finland, with cardamom buns during a Swedish-style Fika break. It’s always great to see teams come together over food and cultural celebrations and take much-needed breaks throughout the busy workday!

The office also kept the Oktoberfest vibes going strong with festivities week, where the Sales team won the Trivia Contest and our employee, Dipu, took home the prize for the German Spelling Bee.

Exiting October with more Celebration and Fun

To end the month of October, Planview employees also celebrated Halloween, Diwali, and the Day of the Dead

The Day of the Dead is a celebration that honors loved ones who have passed away, combining elements of indigenous traditions and Spanish culture. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a vibrant Hindu holiday celebrating the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil through festivities, family gatherings, and the lighting of oil lamps, symbolizing hope and prosperity.

Planview employees also painted pumpkins to end the month of October and Celebrate Halloween!

Planview Opportunities

As 2024 is coming to an end, Planview continues to have exciting events and learning opportunities, and the Planview team is committed to supporting and engaging employees through our ERGs and company-wide initiatives.
