There’s an application for everything these days, and in fact Enterprises have so many systems and tools installed that this environment has spawned a whole new marketplace for Application Integration Platforms. Companies like Zapier, Workato, Jitterbit, MuleSoft and Informatica (just to name a few) have stepped in and offer a way for organizations to easily connect their tech stack in new and innovative ways.
Planview AdaptiveWork Go now supports Zapier integrations, allowing you to quickly connect with over 2,000 other applications in the ecosystem. The pre-built connectors allow countless possibilities for workflow automation.
We’ve compiled a few below to get the ball rolling, but the only limit is your imagination!
- IT Task Intake: An IT team receives requests for new projects from the company line-functions via a web portal. These requests are reviewed and once approved, new Planview AdaptiveWork Go tasks are created and assigned to IT team members for implementation.
- Ticketing: Most ticketing & request management systems, like Zendesk and ServiceNow, are great at managing service requests, but have weak or no capabilities for managing projects. The scenario described in the clip above addresses this use case whereby the ticket kicks off a Planview AdaptiveWork Go task which can now be managed in the context of a project. When the task is complete, the source ticket’s status can be updated as well. This applies to any team which maintains a service desk (like IT, HR, Sales Operations).
- Time tracking: Planview AdaptiveWork Go keeps track of time spent on every task but when work is complete the time spent on a task needs to be tracked. Using Zapier, Planview AdaptiveWork Go can trigger an update in an HR or Time Tracking system that centrally manages work times for employees and contractors.
- Zapier offers many other connectors to email and calendar solutions. This allows users who are not on Planview AdaptiveWork Go to get notified on due dates, start dates etc.
This list just scratches the surface. How many other Zaps can you think of?
