Although it has been a crazy few months in the USA (you all know what I’m talking about), on the flip-side it has been a great fall season for rock and roll. C’mon, Bob Dylan wins a Nobel Prize! Get out! Most of us did not see that coming, but well deserved (and very innovative). On the other end of the rock and roll spectrum (this is for my friends in Stockholm) Meshuggah released what I hear is an awesome new album, The Violent Sleep of Reason. I am probably more of a Dylan fan than Meshuggah, but it got me thinking about a rock and roll theme for easily the most exciting month of product announcements in Planview’s history – hang on for Planview Productpolooza!
The stage is set.
Today’s Planview has a great product lineup that includes Projectplace, Innotas, Troux and Planview Enterprise. During the next few weeks, our product teams are taking some of the best products in the world of Work and Resource Management (WRM) and making them better than ever. And thousands of customers and more than a million users will have an opportunity to learn more about these product releases and updates.
Planview has never had an innovation push this big in the company’s history. I have to fight the urge to spoil all the news, but across all of these product lines, user experience (UX) is a star attraction.
A dynamic UX is so important to every one of our users… and this collection of product releases shows our commitment on that front. The next generation of ProjectPlace (just recognized by Forrester Research as a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Collaborative Work Management, Q4 2016), major UX uplifts for Innotas and Troux, and exciting new analytics for Planview Enterprise.
We are also excited to be bringing Innotas to the European market, look for more details on that this week. In addition, we continue to strengthen the integrated solutions that these products provide customers, embracing the vision of WRM. And of course there are major functional innovations as well as hundreds of customer-driven enhancements across all of these releases.
That’s probably really all I can say for now, but stay tuned as we roll-out all of these exciting product updates. We are thrilled to get these products into the hands of every one of our users around the world. What could be better than Fall 2016 Productpolooza… maybe next year Jerry will win the Nobel.
