With over 3,000 employees and close to 10,000 rooms, H-Hotels AG is one Germany’s largest hotel companies. With so many moving parts in its operation – from continuous investments in modernization to the all daily efforts to provide the best possible service every guest – H-hotels identified a need for smarter facilitation of projects and initiatives.
“In the past, various departments implemented different software to support their projects. There was a lot of experimentation. This was not a long-term solution and it was clear to the management that a cross-departmental work management software platform had to be established”, said Alexander Fitz, CEO of H-Hotels.
It was clear that a cloud-based work and project management solution was required – not only to improve current processes but also also to ensure transparency across initiatives. After a successful pilot phase, the decision fell on Projectplace. The intuitive user experience, collaborative technology, integrated Kanban boards and the structure ProjectPlace brings to every new project, were some of the key benefits.
“ProjectPlace delivers a great framework for project work. The Kanban boards ensure transparency and clarity – at the employee and project manager level,” said Alexander Fitz.
