Aligning Strategy with Execution: Don’t Get Caught in a Trap

Aligning strategy and execution is a challenge in many organizations as they integrate vision with goals and drive results. But in the quest for alignment, it is important to keep in mind execution and respond to changes as they occur while keeping within the goals you set out for.

An alignment process is essential, but tends to be underachieved. It is vital to provide a framework and consistency for alignment, as well as establish objectivity and clarity of expectations. The process needs to be relevant to the environment to be successful.
